HELP, PLEASE!
On or about Saturday, April 19, 2008, some guitars & guitar accessories were stolen in
Westport, CT.
Items include:
1. A red Fender Stratocaster guitar (American Standard, circa 1989), Serial
Number E919584.
TTBB fans have seen this guitar many times...it's Chris's main instrument.
Heavily "dinged up" along the sides. Taken in black "gig bag" style case
(zippers shut) with nice leather strap, cable and yellow Boss Overdrive pedal in
the pocket of the case.
More details on this guitar provided below...Please note that as this was
Chris' main guitar, this is the one we primarily want back...willing to buy
back/offer a reward...no questions asked! Please contact us if you have any
information regarding this instrument: ttbb@optonline.net
2.
A blue/"ash gray" National Resophonic steel body guitar (model "Delphi"), in black hardshell case, with a
pickup installed (input jack on side of instrument). Looks just like the one
pictured here. This guitar also had a very
nice leather strap. There was also a heavy duty cable and the pre-amp for the
pick up (a little black metal box) inside the case. This is not the sort of
guitar you see every day: a blue guitar made out of metal, with a dark wooden
neck, in excellent condition.
3. A white Gibson Les Paul Studio guitar with gold hardware, in black hardshell Gibson case. Relatively new, with some slight signs of wear along edges. Looks like:

4. A brand new Takamine 12-string guitar (no case).
5. A Fender practice amp, black...I believe it was a Sideman (Frontman?) 25R (or 15R?)...basically a small Fender practice amp with reverb.
The Fender Strat looks something like this...
(red w/ white pick guard, rosewood neck)...but with many dings,
surface scratches and nicks. Many sizeable chips of red paint missing around
edges. No whammy bar. White pickguard quite faded. Wood on back of neck &
headstock relatively dark (light brown/tan; not the commonly seen light, almost
white-ish shade). Guitar was refretted a couple years ago, so frets do not show
as much wear as the rest of the guitar.
Please note that we believe these items were stolen by someone with knowledge of guitars...other items were left behind that could just have easily been taken....someone specifically took the "best" instruments...they knew what to look for.
We'd appreciate it if you could pass this information along...
In the meantime, if you think you may be of any assistance in
recovering these items, PLEASE contact us:

THANKS!!!!!!
